A couple years back , I discovered DA. I was directed to the site from another fellow designer that I had met in my tenure at Art Institute. I found it to be a great community of designers, writers, photographers, and just artists in general (traditional and digital). It provided a great forum for artists to speak to one another and get feedback on work, something that truly is one-of-a-kind.
However, I never really ended up using this site to it's fullest potential. Back then I was a budding young designer, and I don't believe I truly understood the imprtance of networking and communication. This is why I come before you now.
I have been reworking my professional structure from the ground up, getting all my ducks in a row, so to speak. I now will include DA in my daily activities, alongside my daily work. I aim to use this as a platform for me to display my own work, as well as a place I can come for inspiration. I encourage all the feedback I can get, and on the same token, I will be offering as much feedback as I can muster.
I hope DA journeys with me as I start my professional career as a designer.
Thanks, and godspeed!
